Following many years of studying Japanese Art, as well as Japanese Studies at the University of Zurich, I have a broad knowledge of East Asian art and culture, particularly that of Japan.
I have further enriched my knowledge of Asian Art by working in the Asian Department of Koller Auctions in Zurich, at the Department of East Asian Art, University of Zurich, where I was responsible for teaching Japanese Art under Prof. Helmut Brinker, as well through my dedication as a tour guide and Sake sommelier.
Furthermore, I have achieved special knowledge on the art of tea, tea ceramics, garden art, architecture, sword smithing, the art of lacquer as well as Sake production and tasting.
I continue to work as an art consultant to various art businesses, such as Koller Auctions Ltd., and insurance companies, such as AXA Art.
Depending on my clients’ requirements, I also work with external art specialists from my extended network of experts.
